OK, so pizza has a whole month dedicated to it, but there has to be one special time of year when pizza is consumed the most, right? Bonus: What’s the record for the world’s largest pizza? According to Guinness World Records, the world's largest circular pizza came from South Africa in 1990, measuring 122 feet 8 inches across and weighing 26,883 pounds. Pizza restaurant owner Bill Bahr and his team of 200 helpers created the 129 x 98.6-foot pizza, which was large enough to feed the town's 5,200 residents ten slices of pizza each. Whew! Now that’s a lot of pizza.
